I SENSI

Just as each one of us bears his own name, Crita's vases also get baptized "A naso" (Blindly), "Coi baffi" (well done), "Al bacio" (perfect). They are not just simple vases but objects with a personified aspect, will and irony. From a simple block of clay, the material takes shape and gets molded into a living element involved in a three-way dance where lathe, pottery and hands come together to raise these red clays. Vertical, linear, delicate. Crita’s signature style is enclosed in the simplicity and elegance of its creations. In this series, they have been enriched with opaque, gem-like, contemporary colors. Fluid and gentle shades that give prominence to the sensations that we want to inspire. The I Sensi collection is a tribute to all those perceptions that we use to evaluate, appreciate and enjoy the world around us. Our vases wish to taste, smell, feel. These vertical sculptures will become merry keepers, and not just simple containers, of flowers, branches, leaves or roots… all indifferently. These are the senses that guide us, make us participants of and contribute to happiness and beauty.
