It embodies the sense of strength, prosperity, immortality, fertility and it is a symbol of good luck.
The pine cone has enriched and decorated the houses of the peasants as well as those of the nobles,
standing out on the gates or balconies of the great palaces and villas of the island's aristocracy and it
continues to be a wonderful decorative object even today.
